"Celebrity Judge"

I was privileged enough to be chosen as a celebrity judge for Lord & Taylor in Stamford’s first-ever Project Runway-esque design contest called “Fashion in the Bag.” Students from New Rochelle and Connecticut were asked to create garments using the department store’s iconic shopping bags. Other judges included television personality and CT native James Aguiar; New Canaan resident and former Tommy Hilfiger executive Larry Stemerman and Mt. Kisco fashion designer Nova Lorraine. We were all amazed at what the students came up with, including dresses, bathing suits and more! We especially loved the winning design out of Bullard Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport called “Classy Taxi.”
